Firstly, we employ only Registered Hearing Aid Audiologists (RHAA) who are registered with the Health Professions Council (a Govt. body).

However, we go further: We additionally guarantee that the RHAA that you see will have a minimum of 5 years experience.

And we go even further: As from 1st April 2010, following a change in the Law, Hearing Care Companies in Scotland are now able to employ UNQUALIFIED, UNREGISTERED persons known as Dispensing Assistants or Hearing Care Assistants to carry out work which previously required a Registered professional.
At Scotia Hearing we have decided that we will not employ such persons - as we believe that our Clients are entitled to expect to be seen by fully qualified, registered Professionals at all times

That, briefly, is what we mean by "professional" hearing care and we make no apologies to our competitors for pointing this out.

PRICE is a valid concern of the consumer who is often unaware of the likely cost of a Hearing Aid.

Scotia Hearing assure you that after receiving a thorough and professional assessment either in our Branch or in your own home anywhere in Scotland , each Client will be able to choose from a range of Hearing Aids suitable for their hearing loss. This range will always include our least expensive Hearing Aid at £299 - an unbeatable price for a Digital In The Ear Aid

However, we do more, in an effort to keep prices as low as possible, we do not believe in the common practice of paying commission on sales (which in other business models can account for up to 30% of the price YOU pay)

Consequently you will find no "salesmen" or "sales pressure" at Scotia Hearing and the savings we make by not paying commission, are passed on to you as generous price cuts!
That is what we mean by "prices which are guaranteed to be the lowest around."

SERVICE is considered by many Hearing Aid users to be of even greater importance than price.

Without proper service and support, the user will undoubtedly fail to get value out of their investment - a Hearing Aid which is not expertly programmed, which you are unsure how to use or which you cannot easily have serviced or repaired, is a complete waste of money.

That is why we at Scotia Hearing thoroughly disapprove of mail order or Internet sales where there is typically no after-sales service or advice, where the persons involved may not be qualified or where the Company may simply disappear overnight!

ALL our Hearing Aids carry a full and FREE service plan for the lifetime of the Warranty - this includes re-testing, home visits, service, and even re-programming. At the end of the Warranty period you may renew this cover annually or not, the choice is yours.
