We employ only Hearing Aid Audiologists who are fully registered with the HAC or Hearing Aid Council, which is a Government body.This is important because there is a trend nowadays for certain large National Companies to seek to employ "Dispensing Assistants" - these people are UNQUALIFIED as Hearing Aid Audiologists and/or UNREGISTERED with HAC.

We value our Clients and believe they are entitled to see qualified, registered staff, therefore we will not employ persons who do not meet those standards.

Furthermore, although all Hearing Aid Dispensers must be personally registered with the Hearing Aid Council, it is becoming increasingly common to find COMPANIES which are unregistered! A search on the HAC website will reveal that SCOTIA HEARING is one of only TWO companies appearing under "GLASGOW" as being registered. Some companies trading in Glasgow may be registered elsewhere so prospective Clients should perform a name check as well, via the same URL.
